History

LogiSync was established in 1993 to assist original equipment manufacturers (OEM) with embedding open system communications into their products. While technologies have changed significantly over the years, OEMs today, more than ever, require innovative and customized embedded communication solutions. LogiSync is committed to providing these solutions quickly, creatively and cost efficiently to its customers.

LogiSync was founded by Edward J. Yenni, a former defense electronics and aerospace systems engineer with Rockwell International. Ed’s systems engineering and project management experience with digital signal processing, network communications, display technology, and power conversion systems provides a solid foundation for LogiSync.

Carl R. Smith, a former college associate and co-worker of Mr. Yenni’s at Rockwell, joined LogiSync as its first employee. During their first five years of operation, Mr. Smith and Mr. Yenni developed a systems approach to engineering OEM communications solutions that has withstood the test of time and still forms the basis for today’s operations. Unfortunately, Carl passed away from cancer in May 1998; however, his vision and approach to development remain as the core principles at LogiSync.
