While working as a systems engineer on the Space Station program, our Founder Ed Yenni noticed that teams were spending more time trying to make systems work together rather than just building the pieces. Every machine, sensor, controller, and device spoke a different language and had trouble communicating with one another.
Ed slowly started to realize the future wasn't going to be built by individual products. It was going to be built by systems and the companies that could connect them.
Around that same time, Ed was introduced to a new interoperability technology that embodied that idea. Most people saw a niche engineering tool, he saw the foundation of an entirely new industry. So he took the leap. He walked away from the stability of a Fortune 50 company engineering career, and invested nearly everything he had into a new development machine conceived of in Silicon Valley.
When it finally showed up, he and his wife placed it on the kitchen table and stared at it. " This better work," she said.
Logisync was born.

From systems engineering to custom hardware, embedded firmware, verification and validation and transition of designs into full-scale manufacturing, the company became known for solving the hard problems that sit between disciplines. Logisync earned a reputation for being the team people called when the stakes were high or a complex problem needed fixing, and most of all, when failure wasn't an option. In 2026, Logisync became a portfolio company of Encore Industrial Co., beginning a new chapter in the company’s more than three-decade history. Working alongside founder Ed Yenni and the Logisync team, Encore’s Andrew Rising and Mike Nieset are helping build upon that foundation by investing in the people, technology, and products needed to support the resurgence of American industry. Together, the team is focused on designing the embedded systems that connect, control, and power the modern world.
